Support · What We Offer

Family Coaching

Because dementia affects the whole family. Practical skills and confidence for the people who care.

A major part of our offering

We teach the people around them how to support them too.

WellKind helps family members develop practical skills and confidence to support someone living with dementia.

Coaching may cover understanding dementia, communication, responding to confusion, changed behaviours, routines, meaningful activities, maintaining independence, encouraging participation, managing difficult situations, creating a supportive environment, understanding when needs are changing, and planning for future support.

We don’t just support the person with dementia. We teach the people around them how to support them too.
